Jordyn's Soul Cafe is a beloved Soul Food Restaurant located in Chicago, IL, serving up authentic Southern comfort food. Our menu features classic dishes like fried chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens, alongside unique creations. In addition to our dine-in experience, we offer catering services and a popular brunch menu. Come experience the flavors of the South at Jordyn's Soul Cafe.
As of February 2026 we are no longer accepting cash. All major credit/debit cards along with Apple Pay will be accepted. Automatic gratuity of 20% will be applied to all tables.
Our Story
Jordyn’s Soul Café is a premier soul food restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. Owner Angel McDonald opened up this business in honor of her late daughter, Jordyn. Angel has been working in the restaurant industry for many years and has always had a passion for cooking. The recipes she serves at Jordyn's Soul Café are close to her heart and have been passed down by her mother. Angel is dedicated to providing her customers with delicious food that is made from scratch daily, using only the freshest ingredients. She takes pride in providing customers with quality service and ensuring that all dishes served are prepared with care and love. Angel created a space that is second to none in its ambiance, and our food is beautifully presented with artistic attention to detail. We are committed to providing you with the best possible experience while dining with us!
Our goal at Jordyn’s Soul Café is to provide great food that makes people happy and to serve our customers with dignity, respect, and compassion while working hard to provide them with an experience they will never forget. Yall i’ve got to share my experience this was a 3000/10 for me!!! Oh my gosh soooo goooddd my picky toddler was even eating the catfish- definitely will possibly go tomorrow 😭 (we just went this past Saturday)
